Address a recently held session at the institute, Dr. Komsari stated that “a neglect of artificial intelligence will set organizations and human resources back from the path of future developments. “
Dr. Komsari further said that a purposeful entry into this field is an organizational necessity for the continuation of the effective role of the institution.
"Artificial intelligence is not just a new technical tool, but rather a defining technology of the 21st century that will transform the structures of content production, research, education, management, data analysis, and decision-making."
Dr. Komsari referred to the vast treasure trove of documents, books, articles, theses, images, audio archives, and thousands of hours of oral histories available at the institute and said:
“Artificial inteligence and new technologies can enable conceptual search, topic extraction, and intelligent retrieval of information, and precise access for researchers to these resources.”
The reputed scholar identified projects such as “Tibyan project” as areas that can examine and explain historical files related to Imam Khomeini with greater speed, accuracy, and comprehensiveness by utilizing intelligent search in written and oral sources.
The head of the institute made remarks while addressing the opening ceremony of a training course centered on new technologies and artificial intelligence.
Dr. Komsari highlighted the significance of AI with the emergence of industrial revolution and Internet.
It is worth mentioning that the session and course was attended by personnel and employees of the institutes and experts of this field.
A series of special presentations and briefings were presented in order to explain the use of new technologies in order to reach the audience.
The engineers and experts who listed benefits of AI as the significant increase in speed and accuracy, reduction of human errors, enhancement of creativity and liberation of experts from repetitive activities as the most important capacities of artificial intelligence.
The experts emphasized that utilizing this technology does not mean eliminating human resources, but rather empowering experts and increasing their productivity.
They said that the quality of the output of tools still depends on the knowledge, expertise, analytical power, and verification ability of the human resource.
